His background is widely diverse, and includes experience in graphic design, web programming and usability. Robin has worked on projects with Bell, Stuart Olson, Centron Construction, and the City of Vancouver.
Daniel Washbrook
Daniel is an experienced web programmer with over 12 years experience in the industry. While his focus is on development, he is also an accomplished designer and project manager. Dan has worked on projects with clients such as Lion’s Gate Films, Syncrude Energy, and Lululemon.
Matt Coco
Matt is a seasoned web developer with over seven years experience in the industry. He has a variety of strengths including project management, web development, graphic design, and business analysis.
Dean Rudd
Dean is a multi-talented web programmer with over eight years experience developing web applications. He has an extremely diverse range of programming knowledge, allowing him to build ‘best fit’ solutions.
Alex Zagoumenov
Alex has extensive experience and knowledge in the realm of online marketing and advertising. He has been actively involved in the community for six years, and prides himself on staying current with the latest trends for online marketing; from search engine promotion to online advertising and social media campaigns.
Heather Stoutenburg
Heather brings over eight years of professional copyediting and copywriting experience to the Apis team. Her focus is on writing web-savvy content that is powerful, concise, and compelling. She has worked with a wide variety of high profile clients, including the Calgary Zoo, Superchannel, and Bell.

So, what’s with the name?
Apis is actually the genus name of the common honeybee; Apis melifera. The company name was actually borne out of our tagline, websites that work. The notion of a hard-working bee seemed logical to us, and hence – Apis Design. And in case you were wondering, our logo is a bee.
